One form, one desk, three working days for substantive replies.

Every message reaches Salma Mansour at the Ismailia office. Salma triages subscription queries and routine correspondence directly; specimen-ID requests and scholarly questions are routed to the appropriate editor within a working day; press enquiries reach Hamza al-Marsafi personally. The office runs Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday from 10:00 to 15:00 Cairo time. Outside office days messages are read on the next office morning.

Send a message.

Mark the topic accurately — it determines who reads the message and how quickly the reply comes. Routine subscription queries are usually resolved in one round; specimen-ID requests involve a written quote followed by separate booking; scholarly attribution questions typically receive a response from the relevant editor within three to five working days after the office's triage.

By post — the printed annual digest.

Institutional subscribers may add the printed annual digest to their subscription for an additional €25 plus postage. The digest is a perfect-bound volume consolidating the year's twelve monthly bulletins, the four quarterly corrections registers, the methodology document and the December transparency note — approximately three hundred and twenty pages. Print run is six hundred copies, sent each February to the institutional subscribers who have requested it, with a small surplus available to non-subscribers on request at the same price. Postage is €5 within Egypt, €11 to Europe and North Africa, €18 elsewhere.

If you reached us by mistake.

If you arrived expecting a coin dealer, an auction house, a marketplace, an appraisal service or a museum gift shop, you are at the wrong door. We are an independent scholarly atlas. We do not buy or sell coins, do not value coins commercially, do not run a marketplace and do not stock anything for sale. The cruise and auction houses, the licensed dealers, the appraisers and the various commercial channels of the Egyptian numismatic market are easy to find online; we will not pass an enquiry to them on your behalf, but we will reply politely to anything you want to ask us within our actual scope.
